registered office in Phuentsholing and showroom cum branch
offices in Thimphu and Paro.
Zimdra Automobiles Workshop:
Authorized workshop and Service Centre for Maruti & Suzuki
make vehicles, located in Phuentsholing and Thimphu. Stockist of
spare parts for Maruti & Suzuki make cars and other utility
vehicles. Whole sale and retail trade of spare parts.
Zimdra Impex:
A House of Import and Export of FMCG goods. Exclusive
Authorized dealer of SPY Wine from Thailand. Import of FMCG
goods from Thailand, China, Singapore and Malaysia. Deals in
Export of Cash Crops and Minerals to Bangladesh and India.
Zimdra Vanaspati:
Manufacturing of Palm/Soya base edible oils and Vegetable
Ghee. The basic raw materials is imported from Malaysia,
Singapore and Argentina. The final products are sold in the
Domestic as well as Indian Market.
Zimdra Software & Solutions:
Software developed by this unit is mainly exported to
countries like Bangkok, Singapore, UAE and USA. This unit
generates hard currency to cater the hard currency requirements
of other units of the group.
Brief History of the company
The company started its operations with the dealership of
Maruti and Suzuki vehicles. under the dynamic leadership of the
Chairman, and in its Endeavour to expand ahead, the company
started Maruti service centers all over the country. The
Services centers are now catering the services of the customers
and is adding substantial revenues to the company.
During the year’ 2004 the company understanding the market of
Fast Moving Consumer goods started its operation and a new unit
Zimdra Impex was opened to cater the FMCG market. The unit Impex
mostly deals in Imported consumer goods and beverages from Third
country. The Management of Zimdra Industries understands that
consumer market has high prospective in Bhutan and its growing
with the growth in the population and economic standard of the
nation.
As the FMCG unit was success the company is now looking at further future
prospects in the consumer market. The establishment of
manufacturing unit or the trading on a very high scale is now
thought about.

Dasho Ugen Tsechup Dorji
Graduated from Delhi University and under his dynamic
leadership, the group is running Twenty units in the area of
Manufacturing, Construction, Mining, Export & Import, Agencies &
Consultancy etc. He is having a rich & potential experience in
various businesses, which he has gained from his long
association with various business activities with a basic
objective of Overall Development of the Economy of the Nation &
Gross Happiness of the Common Man of the Kingdom.
